Energy and comfort
A highly efficient air-to-water heat pump system was installed for the attic floors and the refurbished apartments; it distributes heat through the floors and provides draught-free cooling in summer. Air-conditioning units can additionally be retrofitted on the attic floors. Hot water is produced separately in each apartment in modern storage tanks, supported by a dedicated micro PV array on the roof for each apartment. A communal garden in the quiet inner courtyard creates a green oasis amid the Gründerzeit block.
