About the project

At home where Vienna comes alive again

Between history and the present, between tradition and a fresh start, NEU WIEN is taking shape. In the up-and-coming Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus district, at Goldschlagstraße 43, a carefully renovated period building shines in new splendour. The historic house combines the charm of past times with modern living comfort: nine exclusive apartments, each with generous south-facing balconies overlooking the quiet inner courtyard.

Living between period building and new construction

The ensemble combines fully refurbished period apartments with an elegant new-build part that is matched to the historic house. The apartments, ranging from 37 m² to 110.64 m², come with generous balconies, private gardens and inviting loggias. The orientation towards the quiet courtyard provides a relaxed atmosphere in the middle of the city. Ceiling heights exceed 3 metres in the period floors and are around 2.80 metres in the new-build part (3rd floor and attic).

The new Viennese period house

Goldschlagstraße 43 stands out for its Gründerzeit façade, lovingly restored with respect for the historic fabric. Behind the traditional shell lies modern living space built to the latest technical standard, with high-quality fittings and a focus on quality of living and sustainability. Period aesthetics towards the street; sunlit balconies and private outdoor spaces in the courtyard, where balconies with French windows extend the living space.

Fittings

A sustainable energy system with an air-source heat pump and a photovoltaic array supplies the building. The apartments have underfloor heating with room-by-room control, gentle support cooling through the floor and electrically operated external sun protection. The attic floor is air-conditioned, and air conditioning is prepared on all other floors. The period floors have oak herringbone parquet, the attic has plank-look parquet; sanitary ware is by Laufen Kartell and Villeroy & Boch.

Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus

Where workers' housing once dominated, creative spaces, renovated period buildings, new cycle paths and even a new park are now emerging. Goldschlagstraße is one of Vienna's first official cycle streets. The U3 station Schweglerstraße is right outside the front door (less than 70 m away) and takes residents to the city centre in a few minutes.

According to the sales agent, the apartments are scheduled to be ready for occupancy in 2026.
