Sustainable solid-brick construction

The building is constructed in solid brick masonry — and, where structurally required, reinforced concrete — with external composite thermal insulation. High-quality aluminium-clad windows with triple-pane insulating glass and solid brick walls keep heat in during winter and act as a heat buffer in summer. Benefits include high sound insulation, fire resistance, dimensional stability and excellent moisture and thermal buffering.

Energy & climate

Heating (underfloor) and domestic hot water are provided by a modern rooftop air-source heat pump. An on-site photovoltaic system supplies additional green electricity; the surplus is made available to the apartment owners. The result: low energy demand combined with high indoor comfort.
