About the project
VILLAGE IM DRITTEN is a new, vibrant urban quarter taking shape in Vienna with around 2,000 apartments, plus office and commercial space, local amenities, childcare and educational facilities, combining modern living with greenery, community and sustainable energy. Building plot 14B plays a special role: two sections merging into a single volume – six and eleven storeys high – blend harmoniously into their surroundings and create space for 109 apartments with two to five rooms plus two ground-floor commercial units.
Architecture with character
Designed by PSLA ZT Architekten, plot 14B becomes a true feat of volume. The chequerboard arrangement of projections and recesses and the floor-by-floor changing façades create unique floor plans that, depending on apartment size, allow for several (garden) loggias or balconies. Predominantly generous floor-to-ceiling glazing and green loggias bring plenty of light inside. A particular highlight is the open atrium on the ground floor acting as a "green centre". On the 4th floor a planted roof garden connects the two building sections.
