The Heritage

Very close to Schwedenplatz, in Vienna’s third district, is the Gründerzeit building “The Heritage”.

As part of the careful redesign of this historic building, 13 exclusive condominiums are being created, ranging in size from approx. 44 to 162 m². Special focus was placed on preserving and restoring the original building fabric in the sought-after Gründerzeit style.

At the same time, the building was brought up to the latest state of the art, and modern elements such as large glass surfaces were integrated into the historic ambience. Many of the exclusive apartments also feature sunny balconies or terraces—a true rarity in a period building. Classic period interior doors with decorative paneling as well as elaborately laid herringbone parquet underscore the coveted period-building flair. On the street side, the historic Viennese box windows with outer and inner sashes were restored, further enhancing the charm of the façade adorned with decorative stucco elements.

In an exciting contrast to the building’s rich history is the outfitting with state-of-the-art smart home technology, which allows the living spaces to be staged with a wide variety of lighting arrangements and the indoor climate to be adjusted to individual preferences. Naturally, contemporary amenities also include an elevator that connects the three floors and two attic levels barrier-free and comfortably.
