The immediate surroundings of the house offer all essential local amenities, good infrastructure and numerous leisure opportunities. Just a few minutes’ walk away you will find a supermarket (Penny) and a drugstore (Bipa), a bakery and a butcher’s shop, as well as a tobacconist that also offers postal services and a bank. Just as close by are doctors, a veterinarian, a pharmacy and—ideal for families with children—an elementary school and a secondary school. The area’s leisure options are varied—with restaurants and a café, the Chocolate Museum, the “Werk-X” theatre in the former cable factory and a public library. The Wienerberg recreational area invites you to take walks in the greenery or go jogging, and you can also look forward to a large cinema center (Cineplexx Wienerberg), numerous restaurants and shops. Connections to public transport are excellent: on foot you can easily reach the U6 station “Am Schöpfwerk” and the “Gutheil-SchoderPlatz” station of the Wiener Lokalbahn, which will take you quickly to Vienna’s city center as well as to the recreational areas south of Vienna. In addition, bus 16A provides a good connection to Hetzendorf and Favoriten. By car you can reach the Südosttangente in just a few minutes, an important traffic artery of the city, as well as the Southern Motorway. This takes you to one of Europe’s largest shopping centers, Shopping City Süd (SCS), and to excursion regions of the Vienna Basin such as Laxenburg, Gießhübl and the Föhrenberge Nature Park.
