IFA AG has announced the completion of its subsidized housing project at Jedleseer Straße 104-106 in Vienna's 21st district ots.at. The construction project was completed two months earlier than originally planned, which represents a positive signal for the supply side in Vienna's new construction segment in the current market situation. All 24 residential units were already fully rented out at the time of handover, underscoring the continued high demand for subsidized housing in the federal capital.
The project was realized via an IFA developer model, in which private investors invested a total of around 11.9 million euros. In addition to the economic component, the development focused on ecological sustainability: the building meets modern energy standards and features a highly efficient heating system as well as a photovoltaic system for self-generated electricity. This combination of subsidized rent and contemporary equipment is intended to ensure the long-term value retention of the property.
With the completion of this project, IFA is continuing its activities in the field of subsidized housing. Another project in Vienna, Werndlgasse 4, is already being prepared and is expected to create a total of 37 new rental apartments by 2027. Such initiatives contribute to continuously expanding the supply of affordable housing despite the general challenges in the construction industry.
